The children of today hold the future of our planet in their hands. And it’s up to us to make sure they are well equipped to look after it.

Rescue Rangers brings the wonders of wildlife to life through fun, educational incursions designed especially for young explorers, aged 3 - 5. Each themed incursion takes children on an interactive journey to learn about certain animals and age-appropriate ways we can help protect them and care for our world.

Underwater Explorers (available now!)

Dive beneath the waves with us to discover the amazing underwater home of green sea turtles and dugongs. There is lots to learn about these gentle creatures.

Through fun, hands-on activities and imaginative play, children will see how these wonderful ocean creatures live, what they eat, and how we can help protect their home.

Bushland Buddies (coming T2, 2026)

Children will learn about two of Australia’s most iconic animals - the sleepy koala and the cheeky Tasmanian devil. Both small but mighty and with lots for us to learn.

Little rescue rangers will discover fun facts about these amazing animals and age-appropriate ways we can help protect their homes here in Australia.

Antarctic Animals (coming T3, 2026)

Put on your warm coats and come with us on an adventure all the way to Antarctica.

Children will learn about two mighty Antarctic species in this session. The Emperor Penguin and the polar bear.

One land and sea, one sky animal, both endangered but both can be helped by our rescue rangers!

Interested in a Rescue Rangers incursion? Here are the most common questions educators ask about our programs including session details, setup requirements, and how our missions link to learning outcomes.

  • Rescue Rangers is an interactive, educational incursion that brings nature, animals, and conservation to life for children.

    Through different themes, kids become mini rangers and learn about different species and age-appropriate ways to care for our planet.

    • Our incursions combine fun and physical play with learning.

    • It is designed to suit kindergarten aged attention spans.

    • Storytelling makes animals feel "real” and memorable.

    • Children leave feeling empowered, not saddened.

  • Our incursions are designed for children aged 3–5 years old.

    We currently are only available to be booked for kindergartens or kindergarten aged rooms in child care centres.

  • We cap the incursion at 30 children per session.

    This ensures enough time for all children to participate in the movement activities and ensure that the EYLF Outcome 4 (children are confident and involved learners) is catered to.

  • Before we come to the centre, we ensure that we have a conversation with the centre director or the room educator/s to identify any additional needs of the group and modifications that can be made to accommodate.

  • We require an indoor space or shaded outdoor area (approximately 3m x 2m), access to a power socket, and enough room for children to move around comfortably.

  • No, we don’t bring live animals.

    We use toys, sound effects, and interactive resources to create an imaginative and safe learning experience.

  • Absolutely. Each incursion aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Outcomes.

    Outcome 1: Children have a strong sense of identity.

    We enable children to participate indecision-making that affects them.

    Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.

    We help children feel empowered to save endangered animals from extinction.

    Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.

    We include movement activities to get kids involved and moving.

    Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners.

    We use multiple learning styles to ensure children are involved.

    Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators.

    We play games that promote listening and following instructions.

  • We understand plans can change.

    Cancellations or reschedules can be made up to 7 days prior to your booking without any applicable fees.

    For any cancellations made 6 days or less before the scheduled incursion date, a 50% fee will apply.

    For any reschedules made 6 days or less before the scheduled incursion date, a $50 re-booking fee will apply. Rescheduling will depend on availability.

    Note - we only travel to certain regional areas once or twice per year. If your centre is in one of these areas, reschedules may not be possible until our next trip to your area.
